Amelia Elkins is a recent graduate of The London School of Economics and Political Science, where she earned a Master’s degree in International Social and Public Policy. She brings extensive experience in legislative affairs, constituent services, and communications across both the US and UK political landscapes. Amelia has honed her policy analysis, research, and stakeholder engagement skills through roles at the House of Commons, the Executive Office of Governor Gretchen Whitmer, WKAR Public Media, and America’s Public Television Stations. Her proactive, detail-oriented approach, strong writing abilities, and commitment to social impact and human rights make her a strong asset for public affairs work. Amelia is passionate about delivering strategic insights and meaningful client support in fast-paced environments.

Russell Whiting
Russell’s experienced political adviser with a proven track record of securing positive legislative change across the UK, I combine a deep understanding of parliamentary systems with expertise in public affairs, policy development, and campaigning. Currently serving as Director of the Emerging Leaders Forum at the National Committee on American Foreign Policy, Emma specializes in Track II diplomacy, international development, advocacy strategies, and organizational leadership. Her career spans key roles in disability rights, deliberative democracy, gender equality, and peace processes, backed by a BA (Hons) in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics and ongoing MA studies in International Relations. An accomplished public speaker, project manager, and media contributor, Emma also plays key voluntary leadership roles across voting rights, gender equity, and civic engagement initiatives, consistently driving innovation and positive change at both national and international levels.

Declan Johnson
Declan is a politics and public affairs professional with an MSc in Government, Policy and Politics from Birkbeck, University of London, and a BA (Hons) in International Relations and Politics from De Montfort University. He has built strong experience in public affairs, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communication through roles at Bacta, The Terrapin Group, Grayling, and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Alongside his professional work, Declan has been actively involved in grassroots political campaigning for the Labour Party across London and Leicester. Fluent in English and Krio, with intermediate German skills, he brings a global perspective, strong analytical ability, and a commitment to impactful policy development. Abraham Peel

Will Johnson
Will’s currently an Account Executive, working in communications. He’s previously worked in the House of Lords and interned in a number of other stratcomms agencies. He’s a First Class History Graduate from the University of Edinburgh and whilst there, also completed elective modules in Politics, data analysis, and Public Policy.

Joe McCauley
Joe’s a Campaign Manager with 10 years’ experience in the running political campaigns. He’s worked in Parliament and in American politics. He has a passion for enabling change through community-led action and communicating with purpose, with it being the case that he’s currently the LGBTQ+ , the Disability Awareness, and the Culture Spokesperson Scottish Liberal Democrats.

Ellie Finkelstein
Ellie is published in McGill University's Bicentennial Recommendations Report, Black Canadian Studies, and the Journal of Chrysalis for my research in Canadian transatlantic slavery. In being on the advisory board for the Study of Canadian Slavery at NSCAD University she has experience in working on post-colonial political strategy in an anti-modern slavery advocacy organisation. She has a Masters in Postcolonial Culture and Global Policy from Goldsmiths University of London, as well as a Bachelors in Art History and Gender, Sexuality, Feminism and Social Justice Studies from McGill University.

Jamie Finfer
Jamie is studied English Literature and Mandarin at the University of Durham, and is working in global diplomacy and politics. He holds a broad interest in global current affairs and wishes to contribute to addressing real world problems - to act and think globally, and ultimately represent my country on the world stage. He has interned at leading Westminster think tanks and London-based communications agencies.

Emilia is a Political Researcher at the Senedd Cymru / Welsh Parliament for Laura Anne Jones MS, Shadow Minister for Education. She’s a Cardiff University graduate, in BSc (Econ) Politics. She also has experience in humanitarian work, having volunteered for Help Refugees, in Calais and Dunkirk.

Jacob has an Economics undergraduate degree and postgraduate degree in International Security, from the University of Bristol. He has experience in a human rights consultancy and has specialised in the following areas: China's international relations; theoretical approaches to security; insecurities of politics (climate, food scarcity, terrorism, unending warfare); terrorism and counterterrorism; foreign policy analysis; and security governance (EU, NATO, UN, AU, ASEAN).

Oliver Gibson
Oliver’s a Doctor of Historical Geography, having graduated from Queen Mary University of London. He previously was a researcher for the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry, led by Lady Smith, Judge of the Supreme courts since in 2001, as well as the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse, established in 2015, led by Prof. Alexis Jay.

Samantha Valdez is a current student at the London School of Economics and Political Science, studying Sociology. She’s recently undertaken a three month internship at HM Treasury and prior to this, she won an internship at the Centre for Social Justice, a think tank working to alleviate disadvantage in the UK - she worked in the Education policy unit.

Arron Cockell
Arron’s currently undertaking a PhD in Intellectual History at the University of Glasgow and is due to graduate in 2024. His primary focus is on the study of masculinity in the 20th century and the analysis of masculine archetypes in the 1920s and 1930s. He also holds an MA in History from the University of Leeds. He’s written two novels and has extensive experience in writing content for leading media outlets.

Irina is an international relations professional, I have worked in parliaments, governmental structures, international organisations, embassies, and NGOs. She has worked in the House of Commons, is the Program Manager for The International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy, and has also worked in the European Parliament. In addition to this, she holds experience of working in US embassies.
